Renault, the French automaker has revealed the Duster Facelift to compete against the new rivals. The standard petrol variant of Duster has priced at INR 7.99 lakh and the fully-loaded diesel variant comes at a price of INR 12.50 lakh. The Renault Duster Facelift has a slightly different exterior and interior. The major reason for tweaking the exterior design is meeting the upcoming safety norms, which will be in effect from August 2020.
Speaking of the Renault Duster Facelift styling, the automaker has updated its features, however, the gearbox and variant options are still same. The important thing to note is that the currently-used 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine will be discontinued before BS6 deadline in April 2020.
As of now, the Renault Duster is available within nine configurations that include five gearbox options. Following are the features, powertrain and prices of each variant. Take a look.
Renault Duster RxE
The Renault Duster RxE price in India is between INR 7.99 lakh to INR 9.30 lakh. The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces a power of 85 ho and a 1.5-litre diesel engine generates 106 hp. Both engines come mated to a manual transmission. Impressive features include remote central locking, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and brake assist, 16-inch steel wheels, LED tail-lamps, projector headlamps, roof rails and tilt-adjustable power steering.
Renault Duster RxS
The Renault Duster RxS price is INR 9.20 lakh and goes up to INR 12.50 lakh. The SUV is available in 1.5-litre petrol CVT, 1.5-litre diesel MT, and I.5-litre diesel MT and AWD. Coming to the Renault Duster RxS interior, the SUV comes with power-adjustable wing mirrors, four speakers, a 7-inch infotainment system with ESB, Apple CarPlay, AUX, Android Auto compatibility and Bluetooth. Other features are rear centre armrest, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, steering-mounted controls, rear defogger, Hill-Start Assist (AWD), ESP (AWD) and creep function.
Renault Duster RxZ
The Renault Duster RxZ price is between INR 12.10 lakh to INR 12.50 lakh. It is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine which cranks out a peak power of 110 hp and comes in MT and AMT options. This variant of Renault Duster features cruise control, rear parking camera, creep function (AMT), Hill-start assist (AMT), ESP (AMT), front fog lamps, front armrest, two tweeters, and power-folding wing mirrors. The list of standard features includes automatic climate control, rear wiper, power windows, adjustable driver seat and adjustable front seat belts.

Despite the increased feature list, the base variant price of Renault Duster Facelift is the same as of old Duster. The SUV will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta (INR 10 lakh to INR 15.65 lakh) and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross (INR 8.86 lakh to INR 11.49 lakh).
