Bajaj Auto came up with some of the new age Pulsars this year including RS200, AS200 and AS150. Talking about the fully faired RS200, the bike did extremely well in term of sales and performed beyond expectations. Bajaj Auto has already started with the exports of the new age Pulsars. Currently Bajaj is exporting the adventure sport 150 and 200 to the Nepal market and fully-fledged exports will commence from the month end.

"CT and Platina still continue a good run of 80,000 units per month, Pulsar new models have almost touched 11,600 units and there are heavy back orders there. For domestic three-wheelers we are continuing with 57 per cent very high market share in the passenger segment exports you have already talked, is 16 percent growth. KTM is doing very well. So, it has been a very good month in June. The new Pulsars are very well embedded," said S Ravikumar, president, business development, Bajaj Motorcycles.

Bajaj Auto has a strong presence in international markets like Nigeria and Sri Lanka while they are slowly losing in the Columbian market from last few months. The export of new age motorcycles would help Bajaj Auto to regain market presence in countries like Columbia. Bajaj Auto is expecting to touch a target of exporting near 1.60 lakhs of units which also includes the KTM sales.
