BMW Motorrad brings a host of updates to the new F700GS, F800GS and F800GS Adventure

BMW Motorrad has brought a major update to its middleweight adventure motorcycles - the F700GS, F800GS and F800GS Adventure. All these motorcycles are 2017 models and comply with Euro 4 emission standards to cope up with the stringent emission norms. The bikes have also received a new ride-by-wire throttle system along with four engine maps that can be selected based on the rider’s preference.
The different riding modes includes Road, Rain, Enduro and Enduro Pro. The Rain and Road modes are offered as standard on the other hand Enduro and Enduro Pro are optional. Apart from this, the bikes have also received new revised instrumental panel with new dials and more information. The instrumental panel now also displays riding modes information and Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is now offered as a standard on all the motorcycles.
ABS is offered as standard on all three motorcycles while Automatic Stability Control (ASC) and Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) are optional features that one can opt for. Apart from this, customers can also opt for features like heated grips, centre stand, riding modes, LED indicators and auxiliary lights to customise the bike according to their own taste. Talking about the mechanicals, F700GS churns out 75bhp of maximum power at 7000 rpm while maximum torque of 77Nm comes at 5500rpm. On the other hand, F800GS and F800GS Adventure delivers 85bhp of power at 7500 rpm, and 83Nm at 5750 rpm.
