Despite being a sub-four metre crossover, the outer appearance of Ford EcoSport looks contemporary. The front profile of this mini-SUV gets the hawk-eyed clear headlamps, chrome front grille and circular chrome fog lights. Ford EcoSport is presently offered with three engine options – the 1.0L EcoBoost petrol, 1.5L Ti-VCT Petrol and 1.5L DV5 Diesel. The efficient 1.0L 3-pot EcoBoost petrol motor has calibre to toss maximum power of 125bhp at 6000rpm and peak torque of 170Nm at 1400 – 4500rpm, while the another high displacement 1.5L Ti-VCT petrol mill produces peak power of 112bhp at 6300rpm and peak torque of 140Nm at 4400rpm. The 1.6L 4-cylinder petrol mill of this crossover produces peak power of 102.6bhp at 5850rpm and top torque of 145Nm at 3750RPM while the 1.5L 4-pot K9K diesel in-line has potential to churn maximum power 83.8bhp at 3750 rpm and maximum torque of 200Nm at 1900rpm. Besides, this compact crossover is also offered in a 1.5-Litre diesel Nav engine that tosses maximum power of 108.5bhp at 3900rpm and maximum torque of 248Nm at 2250rpm.
