Ford Fiesta has only diesel engine option for the user. The strong and powerful 1.5-litre in-line diesel motor can displace 1498cc and has a combination of eight valves and four cylinders. This one has TDCi fuel supply system, which ensures good mileage delivery. The five speed manual transmission coupled with the engine is done nicely. Furthermore, the power output delivered by the engine is around 89.75bhp along with 204Nm of peak torque.

Honda City Vs Ford Fiesta (Mileage and Safety)
The petrol variants of Honda City that features multi point fuel injection supply system has the ability to deliver a peak mileage of 17.8kmpl on the highways and 13.5kmpl on the city roads. The one with automatic transmission has a fuel economy of around 14.5 to 18kmpl, which is indeed impressive. The diesel models of City sedan are superb in terms of mileage delivery. Verdict
Both Honda City and Ford Fiesta are superb in their own way. However, the absence of petrol engine option in Fiesta cuts down the consumers who prefer petrol variants. Also, there is an absence of music system in the base variant of Fiesta. But in terms of looks, exteriors and mileage, Fiesta passes with flying colors. On the other hand, if you wish a luxury sedan but in petrol engine option, Honda City is the car for you.
