Hyundai Elantra Vs Chevrolet Cruze (Design and Exteriors)

The Hyundai Elantra is perhaps the car in which fludic design philosophy of Hyundai is best embodied. The car looks beautiful from every angle. The interplay of smooth surfaces makes the car look very elegant. At the front, you would notice large sweptback headlamps. The headlight cluster incorporates DRLs and projector headlamps which look very futuristic. The vertically elongated fog lamps complement the overall styling. On the sides, you would immediately notice large wheels under huge wheel arches. The character lines make the car look muscular and sloping roof line makes the car look sporty. The taillight section of the car appears unusually high and inline with the headlight section too.

The Chevrolet Cruze looks more like a muscle car and has a high waistline that is typical of such cars. The trademark two-part Chevrolet Grille is flanked by sharp and squarish headlamps which look great. There’s huge bumper that accommodates the fog lamps and air dam. The design does not come across as clean as the Elantra but is appealing. On the sides, you would notice that the design is uncluttered. At the rear there are twin-pod tail-light clusters and in the middle is a chrome strip which complements other styling cues.

The Cruze is the most powerful car in this segment which takes a toll on its mileage. You should definitely go for the Elantra since the car is better equipped in terms of safety features and features in general. The Elantra also offers a petrol engine choice and better efficiency across the entire range which makes the cars even more appealing.
