One such measure is the offering of exciting discounts on the popular car models, thereby enticing people to buy. Manufacturers have come up with their terminologies while launching their festive campaigns.

Hyundai Motors has coined an innovative term, ‘Celebrathon', whereas Mercedes-Benz has come up with the idea of ‘Wish Box.’ Toyota Motors have launched two financing schemes namely, Toyota Smart and Toyota Edge.

These discounts are available for the entire festival season. One should concede that the automobile sales figures have picked up with September 2019 faring 13% better than August 2019.

Honda is offering benefits up to Rs 5 lakhs on its various models like the CR-V, WR-V, BR-V, Civic, Amaze, Jazz, and City. These discount offers are valid up to October 31, 2019.

Honda Motors – Attractive discounts up to Rs 5 lakhs

Discounts available up to Rs 2.50 lakhs on diesel vehicles whereas petrol-driven vehicles get up to Rs 2 lakhs

The diesel version of the Honda CR-V gets one of the best cash discounts up to Rs 4 lakhs

Mercedes-Benz has reported encouraging numbers in its festival sale. The festive season campaign has begun on a strong note with more than 200 vehicles delivered to its customers in Gujarat, Mumbai, and other top cities in a single day.

  • About 74 cars were delivered during the Navratri festival to its various customers.

  • Dussehra day saw the maximum delivery of 125 cars.

  • Most of the models included the C-Class and E-Class sedans along with the SUVs like the GLE and GLC.

Maruti Suzuki – Attractive Discounts on Offer

Maruti Suzuki has the distinction of being India’s largest car manufacturer. The automobile slowdown has not spared the leader of the pack, as well. Maruti has come up with these exciting offers on its most popular brands. 

  • Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets discounts up to Rs 1.50 lakhs. This offer is available on the performance-oriented Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS.

  • The Maruti Suzuki Baleno in its standard avatar is available at a discount of Rs 85,000.

Volkswagen – An Upward Trend in Terms of Sales

  • Volkswagen has launched the facelift versions of the Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Vento this year to boost its sales figures.

  • The Company plans to enhance its sales points from 132 to 150.

  • In this context, the Company is providing intensive training to its sales and after-sales service teams throughout its network in India.

As a result, Volkswagen has reported sales figures of 2550 in September 2019, a month-on-month growth of 4%.
