Ducati isn’t for sale: Rupert Stadler

Clearing rumours once and for all about Volkswagen plan to sell Ducati, Audi CEO Rupert Stadler has said in an official statement that the Volkswagen group is not planning to sell Ducati anytime in the near future. “Ducati isn't for sale,” said Rupert Stadler to Motorcycle news trouncing the rumours of the company selling the Italian motorcycle marquee.
The Audi's parent company Volkswagen announced last week a comprehensive restructuring of the Group. CEO Matthias Müller left the clarification that whether Volkswagen is planning to sell parts of the company. Two sources told Dow Jones Newswires that Ducati and the MAN subsidiary Renk were on a list of candidates for sale.
