Ducati Supersport to be introduced at INTERMOT show next month
Snapshot: The all new Ducati Supersport is expected to make it to India soon after its launch in International market.
The iconic Italian motorcycle maker, Ducati is all set to unveil its new Supersport and Supersport S at the upcoming 2016 INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany in the month of October. The all new Supersport by Ducati was showcased for the very first time at World Ducati Week this year in Misano and was displayed undercover to WDW participants that came together from around the world. Named as Project 1312, the Ducati Supersport will have an all new fairing wrapped around trellis frame seen on Monster 1200.
The new Supersport from Ducati doesn’t resembles much from anything seen before from the Italian brand, it has an all new fairing and fairly comfortable riding ergonomics. Drawing its power from the 937cc L-twin engine borrowed from the Hyperstrada family of motorcycles, it will be more focussed towards being a more practical, perhaps a better relaxed Supersports ever seen from Ducati.
When launched internationally, we expect Ducati will introduce the same in our country as the Italian motorcycle maker has a record of bringing most of its motorcycles from of its international line-up to India. Ducati Supersport will lock horns with motorcycles like Kawasaki Ninja 1000 and Suzuki GSX-S1000F. Stay tuned to Bikeportal for more updates on the same.
