Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, launched the new Grazia scooter in the Indian two-wheeler market a few days back. Since the scooter market is climbing up year on year, not just Honda but every other manufacturer is planning to squeeze as much as they can from this market. Honda is the maker of India’s largest selling scooter, Activa, so we can safely say that Honda has already cracked the code. With the launch of the new Grazia scooter, the company hopes to implement the Activa’s success in its newest scooter that will naturally make Honda the undisputed king of the scooter segment.
What’s different about Honda Grazia?
There are cool new features on Honda’s newest scooter that you can count on. It comes with a fully digital meter console that is good in visibility in both day and night. One of the best features on it is the 3-step eco meter that helps the rider achieve most fuel efficiency.
The scooter is also designed in quite a modern and funky outlook. Its body comprises of sharp and edgy lines and it packs fully LED headlamps which give it an edge over all of its competition. Grazia is also offered with front disc brakes for maximum braking power at ease. Apart from this, it also packs a 4 in 1 lock switch with seat unlock feature. What this feature essentially means is that the seat can easily be unlocked from the opening switch given in the key lock itself.
How powerful is the Honda Grazia?
Talking about engine and specifications, the Honda Grazia packs the same tried and tested engine as seen on the Honda Activa. This is a 125cc, fan-cooled, 4-stroke, SI engine that churns out 8.52bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.54Nm 5,000rpm. The engine comprises of Bore x Stroke ratio of 52.5mm and 57.9mm while the compression ratio is 9.8:1. It is offered with electric start feature which is highly common in the two-wheeler these days. This engine can take the scooter to a maximum of 85kmph of top speed while delivering 57kmpl to 60kmpl of an average fuel economy.

Grazia packs a bunch of different features that make it a highly desirable scooter. Aforementioned, the scooter packs a modern looking fully digital instrumental panel, disc brakes, 4 into 1 lock with seat opening switch, front pocket with mobile charging point and LED headlamp. Like every other scooter, Grazia has a 5.3L of fuel tank and combined with its admirable fuel efficiency the scooter can do at least 250kms in a single run without needing fuel refill. Talking about its underseat storage capacity, it has 18L of boot space that is decent enough to accommodate daily grocery and much more.
It is offered in a variety of color options including Matte Blue, Matte Grey, Pearl White, Pearl Red, Pearl Black and Neo Orange Metallic.
