Snapshot: KTM is on its way to be biggest European Company for the 3rd year in Row!!
We can never say enough just how incredibly KTM, the little Austrian Giant has decoded the markets it plays in. From being a power house in Adventure Tourer category to bringing out absolute stunner performers like the RC390 for the world, KTM has shown it has what it takes to be a company worth envy of its competition. Owing to this precise and aggressive approach, KTM has been the highest volume producing European motorcycle company for the past two years consecutively, and zie Austrians are looking to make that a trend in 2014.
As such, the Austrian brand will has some stiff competition this year, seeing as BMW Motorrad already broke last year's sales figure in the first 11 months, of this year — an impressive feat, to be certain. KTM has the advantage of dabbling in small-displacement machines, with KTM-branded bike coming out of India, with its owner Bajaj Auto. The Indian market has been a larger contributor to KTM’s sales success, but things have been growing in Austria as well.
Announcing that the company’s Mattighofen factory reach 100,000 units this year, for the first time ever, KTM is already celebrating some sales success. The 100,000th motorcycle was a much deserving, the company’s hot-selling adventure-touring machine, and a staple to KTM’s on-road line-up. With the factory and executives celebrating this achievement, it is clear that KTM could be well on its way to another overall sales record.
