Mahindra Two Wheelers soars in April 2014; sells 15,845 units
Snapshot: This is 3,746 units lesser than the number of two-wheelers it sold in March 2014
According to a press release Mahindra Two Wheelers released some time ago, it sold 15,845 units during April 2014. The press release also tells us the number of domestic sales of 14,896 units, as against 5,367 units sold during April 2013. Exports make up for roughly 15.7% of its sales in April.
With the financial year ending in April and the launch of new dealerships and new models like Centuro, Mahindra is leaving no stone unturned to make it very promising year for the USD 16.7 billion Mahindra Group.
"In 2014 we have doubled our volume backed by the successful launch of the innovative Mahindra Centuro. We are glad that Centuro continues to receive an unprecedented consumer demand. We have extended our product range with the introduction of the new Mahindra Centuro N1 that is helping us reach new demographic segments. Our sales & distribution network is also rapidly expanding across the country," Mr. Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers commented on the monthly performance.
