Morris Garages is all set to launch its very first product for the Indian market - MG Hector. The SUV is equipped with MG's iSMART Nex Gen Technology and it is being dubbed as India's First Connected SUV. The iSMART Nex Gen Technology provides the Hector with 50+ futuristic features which includes - voice command, connectivity features, machine-to-machine embedded IPV6 SIM which is 5G ready, futuristic security feature, OTA updates (Over-the-Air), Artificial Intelligence, pre-loaded infotainment content, Machine Learning and much more. Speaking of the looks, the Hector is a head turner for sure. Its sleek LED DRLs flanking the front grille, C-shaped headlamp placed on the bumper with twin barrel LED projectors and character lines complimented with geometric shapes, horizontal flow and symmetry provides the Hector with the distinct appeal.
One cannot certainly miss the 10.4-inch vertically placed infotainment system in the cockpit of MG Hector. The infotainment system also happens to be the largest in the segment. Additionally, the Hector has also got a 48-volt mild hybrid engine option - also a segment first. The mild hybrid technology provides the SUV with an additional 20 Nm of torque and counters the turbo lag at lower revs. Other engine options available on the Hector are the 1.5-litre petrol and the 2.0-litre diesel. We recently drove the Hector and have brought to you MG Hector images. So without further ado, let's take a closer look at the country's first connected SUV.
