Maruti Suzuki India has finally launched its long-awaited all-new Maruti Swift 2018 at a competitive price. The top-spec trims get Maruti’s Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. One of the prominent changes on the new Swift is the new AMT gearbox. New Maruti Swift vs Hyundai Grand i10
Available with a new 1.2-litre diesel engine and a 4-speed auto box from the previous model, the Hyundai Grand i10 gets a standard diver side airbag, while the ABS is offered only with the top-spec variants. It additionally gets a new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. In terms of pricing, the Hyundai Grand i10 is available at a relatively low price with the petrol range priced between Rs 4.59 lakh and Rs 6.89 lakh. The diesel line-up is available from Rs 5.79 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.41 lakh.
New Maruti Swift vs Ford Figo
While the Ford Figo is getting ready for a facelift, the current model witnessed a generation leap in 2015. In terms of infotainment, only the top-spec trim gets it gets Ford’s SYNC system. As for safety, only the driver side airbag is standard, whereas ABS with EBD is offered from mid-variants. Available in manual and auto variants, the Figo petrol is priced between Rs 5.0 lakh to Rs 7.20 lakh, while the diesel trims start from Rs 5.96 lakh and the top-spec variant is available at Rs 7.59 lakh.
New Maruti Swift vs Volkswagen Polo
With standard dual front airbags, ABS and front disc brakes the Volkswagen Polo is a well-equipped car, which is available with petrol & diesel engine. The standard Polo trims get a manual gearbox. A touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features is offered from Highline onwards. Coming to the prices, the petrol range falls between Rs 5.41 lakh to Rs 7.24 lakh (Highline Plus) and the diesel range is priced between Rs 6.92 lakh to Rs 8.78 lakh.
New Maruti Swift vs Honda Brio
Honda’s B segment hatchback, Brio gets a 2DIN audio system and dual front airbags as well as ABS with EBD comes with the top-spec variants in the line-up.
