Porsche Expansion Pack announced for Forza Horizon 2

Snapshot: Turn 10 Studios has announced an expansion pack for Forza Horizon 2. As its name suggests, the Porsche Expansion Pack brings along 10 Porsche vehicles and a lot of exclusive in-game events.

In a dearth of driver-oriented PC/Console video games (we can never get enough, can we?), the slightest of an update ensures a bout of excitement, happiness, and long hours of entertainment. Whether or not the DLC lives up to the excitement is something gamers love to explore, and here’s another chance to do that. Popular Xbox title Forza Horizon 2 has just received a new set of cars, Porsches no less, in the latest Porsche Expansion Pack.

The said Expansion Pack needs to be purchased and downloaded, and will add the following cars to the game: Macan Turbo, 944 Turbo, 959, Carrera GT, 911 Turbo S (type 991), 918 Spyder, 914-6, 911 Turbo 3.3 (Type 930), Carrera GT, 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (Type 997), and Cayman GTS.

Other additions include 10 new Bucket List events (centred around Porsches, of course) and 10 new Porsche Rivals events. And while given the numerous legendary cars the Stuttgart-based manufacturer has produced, a mere ten cars will never do justice do it, but it would be interesting to see recent vehicles like the non-Mezger GT3, the new Cayman GT4, and the recently announced GT3 RS in the game.

As far as personal preference goes, I think a 904 GTS, a 911 GT2 (993), and a 911 GT1 would have completed the package. Or maybe not.

This is like Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed all over again. Ah, memories! Enjoy the video:
