The 2019 EICMA edition is very much on where you have a plethora of bikes lined up on display. The quality of bikes on display can make it a challenge to choose the best because each of these bikes is worth owning.

From the KTM 390 Adventure to the Ducati Panigale V2, you have a majestic range of bikes seeking your attention. Here are the top 10 bikes on display at the EICMA 2019 that can blow everyone’s mind away.

KTM 390 Adventure – The most-awaited launch

Here is the much-awaited bike of the year, the KTM 390 Adventure. An off-road version of the 390 Duke, the KTM 390 Adventure is the ideal entry-level adventure bike that you are looking for to buy. Running on the same 373.2cc single-cylinder engine as the 390 Duke that delivers 44hp power and peak torque of 37Nm, this bike features an adjustable suspension along with a switchable traction control system. The KTM 390 Adventure could make its Indian debut at around Rs 3 lakhs on its launch at the India Bike Week in December this year.

Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660 – Light in weight but compelling all the same

After making a grand entry in the concept form at the EICMA 2018, the Aprilia RS 660 unveils in its full glory at the EICMA 2019. This bike draws its power from the 660cc parallel-twin engine that delivers 100hp power. The innovative aluminum frame and swingarm ensure that the bike is a lightweight powerhouse at 169kg, thereby displaying an impressive power-to-weight ratio.

The comprehensive electronics package makes it a complete bike in all respects. The Aprilia RS 660 has an admirable company in the form of its naked twin, the Tuono 660 concept. Though it features a similar engine, it delivers 95hp of power. The production-spec version of this bike will be the highlight of EICMA 2020.

Kawasaki Z650 - An updated one in the offing

One of the best aspects of the new Kawasaki Z650 is that it is a Euro5 compliant bike. This bike should make its way to India in 2020 along with the Kawasaki Z900. The Kawasaki Z650 comes with the same parallel-twin engine that delivers a high power of 68ps and a peak torque of 64Nm.

With a kerb weight of 187kg, the new Kawasaki Z650 is around 3kg lighter than the present model. The bike gets intelligent features like a 4.2-inch TFT display along with Bluetooth connectivity and LED headlights. The pricing could just be the same as that of the current version.

Benelli Leoncino 800 – Small is always beautiful

Indians are familiar with Benelli, as they have witnessed three launches in recent times. Benelli has now unveiled its most powerful offering, the Leoncino 800 at the EICMA 2019. The minimalistic retro theme with sharp features confirms that the bike retains its small bike image. It resembles the Leoncino 500 in many ways.

The 754cc engine delivers the power of 81.6hp and a peak torque of 67Nm. If Benelli introduces the Leoncino in India, it could compete with the Ducati Scrambler with a substantial pricing advantage.

Updated Kawasaki Z900 – Aggression does take you to the top

The Kawasaki Z900 gets a fantastic update to give it a sharper and aggressive look. The electronic rider aids and the new Kawasaki H2-inspired LED headlamp make it the perfect bike to have in your repertoire. Another exciting feature is the 3-level Kawasaki Traction Control System.

The bike comes in two power modes, Full and Low, along with its four ride modes, Rider, Rain, Sport, and Road. This bike could get an Indian launch very soon. However, the pricing of the updated Kawasaki Z900 could go up because of the additions.

Hero Xtreme 1.R concept – Epitome of elegance

The Hero Xtreme 1.R concept is another excellent bike on display at the EICMA 2019 along with the XPulse 200 Rally Kit Edition. The futuristic design of the Xtreme 1.R makes it refreshingly different from what Hero generally offers. The elegant features include a distinctive LED headlight, an aggressive tail section with the covered rear wheel, and a floating seat.

One cannot expect all these features to make it to the production-spec model, but you could end up with a sportier Xtreme by the time it is ready for a launch by the end of next year.
