Also, you can drive in the Northern Territory of the country with a caveat – a permit that allows you to drive for just three months.
Paris, Nice, Lyon and Toulouse - France has some of the best looking cities, and is one the most culturally rich countries in the world. In fact, no European tour is complete without visiting France. The country allows you to explore its cities by driving through its scenic locales on a valid Indian driving license. All you have to keep in mind is that the license is valid for only a year and you have to carry a French translated copy of your license all the time. Simple, isn't it!

The island of Mauritius allows you to drive on your home driving license for a period of four weeks and only in the type of vehicle mentioned in your license. However, the car rental companies sometimes ask for an International Driving Permit, so it's advisable to have one.

While you may not be aware, the U.S offers the Indians to drive on its amazing driving routes against a valid Indian driving license. One can drive around the vast country with brilliant roads for a year with a driving license in English and a valid International Driving Permit.
