No matter how much out of reach they are, we do love supercars and want to own one of them at some point of our lives. While Ferraris and Lamborghinis top the list of famous supercar brands, there are lesser known Paganis and koenigseggs too. And then there are brands which we are completely unaware of, the brands who are producing machines as exotic as our desirable brands.
Here's a list of top 5 lesser known supercar manufacturers around the world!
1. Arrinera Hussarya 33
Origin - Poland
The Arrinera Hussarya is the first supercar from Poland and is made completely out of Graphene, making it lighter and stronger than carbon fibre built cars. The Hussarya is designed by famous designer Lee Noble (Noble supercar fame) and has derived its name from Polish Hussar Cavalry. Featuring scissor doors, the Hussarya comes powered by a 8.3-litre mid engine configuration that can produce a massive 800 PS and can push the car from 0-100 kmph in less than 3 seconds.
2. AD Tramontana
Origin - Spain
This little known Spanish outfit decided to borrow its name from the Northern Winds and hence the AD Tramontana was born (AD - Advance Design). The supercar is essentially inspired from open wheel racing cars and is a single seater machine, but can be customized to seat 2 people. It comes powered by a Mercedes sourced 5.5-litre V12 engine that produces 720 PS of power and does 0-100 kmph in little over 3.5 seconds. And yes, the badge up front is made of White Gold. Sweet!
3. Superlight SLC
Origin - USA
Interested in driving a LeMans car, but neither you have the money nor skills? Well, Superlight SLC aims at giving you the same pleasure at only $44000. The 'Do it yourself' car is designed and engineered to reproduce the look, feel and performance of a LeMans prototype supercar. What's the catch, you may ask? Well, the car in talk here is just a body kit and doesn't include the drivetrain. So you basically need an engine that not only starts the car, but also matches its design.
4. Falcon F7
Origin - USA
Brainchild of engineer and car enthusiast Jeff Lemke, the Falcon F7 boasts of some insane numbers. Powered by a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 sourced V8 engine which produces 620 horses, the F7 can do 0-100 kmph in little less than 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 320 kmph. The handmade customized limited built car is made of aluminum and carbon fibre chassis to keep its weight in check. Priced at around $200000, the F7 comes with F1 inspired individual push rod suspension arms, a technology used in much expensive Lamborghini Aventador.
5. Sin R1
Origin - UK
Sin Cars, the master kart makers from U.K collaborated with British supplier ProFormance Metals to build an awesome looking R1 supercar. Powered by a mid mounted naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 engine, a 7.0-litre V8 and a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine, the R1 can produce 450 horses, 530 horses and 650 horses respectively.
