Traffic Unjam - TVS Tyres' road safety campaign
Snapshot: The tyre giant launched their road safety campaign in Ahmedabad and Lucknow last week
In order to create awareness on the importance of obeying traffic rules and to educate people on road safety measures, TVS Tyres - India's largest selling two and three-wheeler tyre brand - launched a road safety campaign known as Traffic Unjam. The event took place in Ahmedabad from July 9 to 11 and in Lucknow from July 10 to 12 covering 81 traffic signals in both the cities. Traffic Unjam was a joint venture of the City Traffic Police Department in both the cities and the volunteers of TVS Tyres.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. P. Since tyre care and road safety go hand in hand, we decided to look at a campaign that would benefit, not just the riders, but the society on the whole. Our primary agenda is to address the concern of irresponsible driving and we believe it is our collective responsibility to follow traffic rules. “Traffic Unjam” is one such initiative to educate people to avoid such encounters.”
