TVS Akula 310 Spied once again
Snapshot: It is clear that it has golden front forks and wheel design similar to the BMW G310R, while other further details will be available later on when the company will be ready with its launch.
TVS Motor Company showcased their faired version of the BMW G310 R, the TVS Akula 310 as a concept model at this year’s Auto Expo. It was already spotted getting tested on roads couple of times before, but the new spy shot reveals more details about the TVS’s new fully-faired motorcycle. It has been made taking the BMW G310 R as the platform, utilizing same engine and other components. Its 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor produces a healthy 34bhp of power and a maximum torque sits at 28Nm. The engine has been mated a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The concept showcased at the AutoExpo 2016 came packed with a lot of goodies like a steering damper, adjustable suspension, carbon fibre body panels and much more. It would be interesting to see how closely the concept model will resemble the road-ready version. It is clear that it has golden front forks and wheel design similar to the BMW G310R, while other further details will be available later on when the company will be ready with its launch. We expect TVS Motor Company to launch the same by early 2017 after BMW G310R’s launch. It will lock horns with other faired motorcycles like the KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300, and should be priced around Rs 1.80 Lakh.
