Ever heard the story about 47 Ronin? No? Well, let us take you to a beautiful journey of craftsmanship, which at the end of it, will make you crave hard to own one of this brilliant piece of machinery. A certain Colorado based Magpul Industries have purchased 47 Buell 1125 bikes, to redesign them and sell them under the project name 47 Ronin.

47 Ronin is the story of 47 Samurais from the earliest times in Japan, who didn't have any master and were eventually led to death. The company has decided to pay tribute to the 47 Ronin by creating the handmade motorcycles dedicated to each Ronin, with their respective number and name engraved on each bike. As the name suggests, only 47 such motorcycles will be ever produced.

The bike will be powered by the Rotax motor, a motor known to produce so much heat, that it can melt the frame. So a high-flow, single-core radiator is being used right up front, instead of a headlight, connected to an overflow tank hidden in the left fork leg. On the side of the radiator are stacked low and high beam headlights.

The base bike being used is the 1125 by the Buell motorcycles which went out of production in the 2010. The 1125cc engine used to produce 146HP of maximum power, but we suppose that this will be increased for the Ronin bikes. The weight will also be reduced by around 25 kgs, making the bike even quicker than the original.

The details for the bike is unusually well thought of including the controls which are industrial design at its finest. Among other modifications, the Showa forks in the front will now be gone and replaced by a cast aluminum alloy linkage fork that gives the bike its distinctive mean look. The rear sub-frame is also heavily modified and now mated to a cast aluminum tail section and air intake housing. The belly-mounted muffler is ceramic-coated to protect it from debris while going at high speeds.

Enough said, if you are really looking forward to own one bike, you have to shell out $38,000 out of your pocket. That may be a lot of amount considering the base price of Buell 1125 was only $12,000. But, hey! look at this, you will be among the 47 lucky people around the globe to own this brilliant machine.
