Video- The danger of Motorsports and Sportsmanship

Snapshot: We are presenting 2 videos, one which shows the sportsmanship and other, the danger to the spectators.

The world of Motorsports is exciting and dangerous at the same time, with only a thin line differentiating the two. A small mistake on the kind of insane speeds they drive, and the scenario can change dangerously for both the drivers and the people surrounding them. We are presenting here two videos, one which shows the sportsmanship and other, the danger to the spectators.

Last week we reported one such incident, where the F1 driver, Jules Bianchi suffered a terrible accident and was caught on the video, hitting the safety truck. This time we show you two videos revealing the danger, these drivers go through, while going for a win. In the first incident, V8 Supercar veteran Craig Lowndes had an accident with Warren Luff, who took him out in a massive crash during practice ahead of the Sunday’s Bathurst 1000. But, this post is not about the incident that damaged the car, it is about the incident, that happened afterwards.

Moments after the incident, Lowndes, emerged unscratched from the car and rushes towards Luff, to pull him out of the car. Both the drivers hugged each other, showing that there is something above the winning, and that is humanity. ‘I'm fine, just obviously very disappointed for the team and obviously for Craig and those guys up the road,’ Luff said after the incident. ‘Big thanks to Craig for helping me get out of the car – that was great.’

In the other news, fans miraculously escaped, without anyone getting hurt, after a horrific crash at the 2014 Jolly Rally at the Valle d’Aosta. The car was driven by Piero Scavone and navigator Diego D'Hérin, and they lost the control at a high speed corner. The car flew through the air and what followed was truly frightening, as the car came devastatingly close to the spectators, sitting on the side of the course.

Some tried to run away, some froze of the fear, but no one was injured other than the drivers. According to a newspaper, Scavone and co-driver Diego D'Herin sustained minor injuries while one person from the crowd was treated for shock.

Time and again, we show you various incidences from around the globe, revealing how disastrous high speed driving can be. We urge you again, to please consider safe driving. Always wear the seat belts and follow the rules.
