Nowadays, there is a trend of 160cc motorcycles so Bajaj has launched their second 160cc motorcycle, the Avenger Street 160 ABS which is as a successor to the discontinued Avenger 150. Bajaj has given attention to safety so they are providing ABS as standard. The new motorcycle is budget friendly when compared to its elder sibling the Avenger 220 Street and is based on it too. The bike retains its classic roadster looks from the previous generations.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 ABS is powered by a new 160.4cc engine which develops peak power of 14bhp at 8500rpm and peak torque of 13.5Nm at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Bajaj Avenger Street 160 Braking & Safety
Speaking about the brakes, the bike comes with a 260mm disc at the front while there is drum brake at the rear along with a single channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The rear wheel also comes with Rear-Lift Protection (RLP) sensor to avoid accidental stoppies.
