Which bike is better between Pulsar RS 200 and KTM Duke RC 200?
Both bikes are powered by 199.5ccc single-cylinder four-stroke engine with 6-speed transmission. The RC 200 has a slightly better power of 25.65bhp and torque of 19.2 Nm than Pulsar RS 200. The ARAI certified mileage of Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is 45 kmpl, while of KTM RC 200 is 35 kmpl.
In terms of braking, Bajaj offers optional ABS (anti-lock braking system) in its RS 200 while the KTM makes no such offer. The KTM RC 200 is the much more expensive than Pulsar RS 200 since the RS 200 gets optional ABS (single-channel) at Rs. 1.30 lakhs which is still Rs. 30,000 -35000 cheaper than the non-ABS KTM RC.
Not to forget, the Pulsar is more practical to ride on a daily basis than the KTM. Making most of the money you spend. If you are a KTM fan and want to spend that much extra, the RC 200 could be your answer, but if you are looking for similar bike with economical price and value for money then Bajaj Pulsar 200 is the right choice.
