Which bike is better between Pulsar RS 200 and KTM 200?
Both are the same segment bikes powered by 199.5ccc single-cylinder liquid cooled four-stroke engine with 6-speed transmission, but KTM 200 engine discharges maximum power of 19 KW while of Pulsar 200 is 18 KW
As per users experience the mileage Pulsar 200 is 45 kmpl while of KTM 200 200 is 35 kmpl, if we talk about brakes then Pular 200 is featured with optional ABS (anti-lock braking system) while this feature is missing in KTM 200. As per users experience although handling of KTM 200 is better but RS 200 is more practical to ride on a daily basis.
If we compare the ex-showroom Delhi prices of both the bikes as on 31.10.2015, the KTM 200 (Duke) is the more expensive than Pulsar RS 200 since the RS 200 gets optional ABS (single-channel) at Rs. 1.32 lakhs which is still Rs. 8,000 -10,000 cheaper than the non-ABS KTM 200 (Duke)
So the bottom line is, if you are looking for similar bike with economical price and value for money then Bajaj RS 200 is the right choice.
