What is the difference between Pulsar 200 NS and Pulsar 200 AS?
There is not much difference in Pulsar 200 NS and Pulsar 200 AS, both the bikes are powered by199.5cc triple spark 4- valve DTS-i liquid cooled engine which produces maximum power of 23.5 PS @ 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000 rpm and mated to 6 speed transmission gears. Top speed of both the bikes is around 130-135 kmpl and as per users experience mileage of both the bikes is around 35-40 kmpl.
The Pulsar AS 200 is longer and taller than the Pulsar 200 NS due to new conventional mudguard instead of tyre hugger and new windshield visor, but the width of both bikes are same. The other difference is the style of AS 200 which is semi fairing. The AS also has a projector headlight for the low beam which helps a lot in night riding. The instrument clusters of both the bikes are same. Seats of both bikes ensure comfortable riding but as per users experience AS 200 is little better for long ride and high speed than NS 200 as it has lower wind blast. The kerb weight of Pulsar 200 NS is 145 kg while of Pulsar 200 AS is 153 kg, other things like brakes, tyres and suspension of both bikes are same.
