Benelli 302S Overview
The Italian-manufacturing company named Benelli recently launched its new series of the bike the Benelli 302S during the EICMA 2017 held in Milan, Italy. This is recognized as the next-generation variant for the model TNT 300. This motorbike portrays impressive sharp lines along with sporty headlight design which has been inspired by KTM towards the front. The latest Benelli 302S is the first fully-faired motorbike from the Italian automobile company. The 302S motorbike Benelli is highly stylish and contemporary-based design for the youngsters. It flaunts a sporty and sharp styling with the full fairing body will be greatly appreciated by the Indian bikers.
Benelli 302S Engine & Transmission
The 302S model by Benelli runs on the same 300cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin motor from the predecessor model TNT 300. The motor of the bike is capable of producing a power of 36 PS at 12000 rpm and a peak torque of around 27 Nm at 9000 rpm. The engine of the bike is mated to a 6-speed transmission gearbox. The Italian bike manufacturing company claims to be offering a top speed of more than 170 km/hr to the faired motorcycle.

The braking of the Benelli 302S is handled by the classic twin front disc setup. The Benelli 302S is also the first in its segment which offers ABS to ensure complete safety to the riders.

One of the strongest rivals to the classic Benelli 302S can be regarded as the KTM bikes which have been an inspiration in design and technical specifications.
Benelli 302S Mileage
The bike features a mileage of around 24-32 kmpl with an overall fuel tank capacity of 14 Litres. Owing to the big bike size, the Benelli 302S stands out from the crowd. Benelli has done some improvements with the graphics end and doesn’t go by the busy design as its original production. There have been made a few improvements to the overall design as well by including some details like lion motif along its sides, funky exhaust can and plastic inserts close to the tail section. The bike lovers will also fall in love with the classic metallic Benelli silver & green paint scheme that reminds the bikers of the classic Tornado 900 superbike. The finish and fit levels are quite acceptable.
Benelli 302S Performance and Handling
With this motorbike, highway cruising is simply effortless. The engine is really comfortable with the speed limits of 110 and 130 km/hr in which the vibrations are also well restrained. The long rides of the bikers are aided by the comfortable riding position along with relaxed seats which are well padded. The main reason behind the excellent performance of the Benelli 302S is due to the lightweight parameters. Weighing at 198 kg, the bike appears to be a superbike in all aspects. Even for city riding, the bike is considered suitable as it is able to deliver decent radius with realistic ground clearance and better overall heat management.
