Benelli just introduced their baby scrambler for the Indian market. The Leoncino 250 is the youngest sibling to the Leoncino 500. Benelli is going for a retro-scrambler looks which look modern and sporty too. Benelli Leoncino 250 colours are offered in Red, White, Brown and Grey.
Benelli Leoncino 250 Styling & Comfort
Benelli has derived the design and parts from the Leoncino 500. Leoncino 250 has a proper modern scrambler look with the round full LED headlamp with an inverted U-shaped Daytime-Running Lamps with LED turn indicators. Benelli has placed a laser-cut Lion on the front short mudguard to remember their heritage. The fuel tank is shaped like a teardrop and the engine is blacked-out for a more stealthy look. The short rear section and a single-piece seat add up to the scrambler look of the Leoncino 250. The 17-inch alloy wheels, 150 section fat rear tyre comes with a tyre hugger that enhances the rear look of the motorcycle. The rider gets a fully-digital instrument console which shows vital information. The instrument cluster is surrounded by telltale lights.
Benelli Leoncino 250 Performance and Handling
The performance from the engine feels strong and responsive for a motorcycle of this size and weight. The suspension is stiffly sprung which aids the motorcycle to corner confidently in the twisties. Benelli has suspended the Leoncino 250 by 41mm inverted forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear which can be adjusted for preload so that the rider can find the perfect balance between ride and handling.

Benelli Leoncino 250 specs offer a 249cc four-stroke engine, single-cylinder engine. The engine features liquid-cooling, fuel injection and a double overhead camshaft timing system. The engine churns out a maximum power of 25.8PS @ 9250rpm and a peak torque output of 21Nm at 8000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Benelli Leoncino 250 Braking & Safety
Braking duties are handled by 280mm disc in the front and a 240mm disc at the rear. The front features four-piston calliper whereas the rear disc gets a single-piston calliper. Benelli also offers Petal discs in place of regular discs and Dual-Channel Anti-Lock Braking System as standard to enhance the safety of the rider.
