Benelli Leoncino Scrambler Overview
The Leoncino by Benelli is expected to be the first scrambler-styled motorbike for the Indian automobile market by the Italian manufacturing company. The bike is expected to be launched in the early 2018. With Benelli’s plan to bring the Leoncino bikes to India, the Leoncino Scrambler has been spotted testing on the Indian tarmac for the very first time. The upcoming motorbike model has been spotted under testing in Pune recently. This gives the indication of this Italian beauty being launched in India soon enough. At the EICMA which was held in Milan, Italy this year, Benelli has showcased three versions of its classic bikes including the Leoncino Scrambler. As such, there are higher chances of the bike being launched in India by the early 2018.
Benelli Leoncino Scrambler Engine & Transmission
The Leoncino Scrambler by Benelli has been powered by a twin cylinder, 499.6cc motor which is capable of producing enough power of around 47.6 PS at 8500 rpm. The bike also produces a peak torque of 45 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine of the bike is liquid-cooled and consists of a 4-stroke cylinder. The engine of the Benelli Leoncino Scrambler is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This transmission value is sufficient for transferring all the power to the road below. The bike also receives a hydraulic clutch to its overall look.
Benelli Leoncino Scrambler Braking & Safety
For bringing the motorcycle to a complete standstill, Benelli has made use of a twin 320 mm petal disc brakes along with 4-piston caliper which is present at the front end. There is also a single 260mm petal disc frame with a single piston floating caliper which is present at the rear end. The bike also gets an all LED-lighting system along with a digital instrument console box. The Benelli Leoncino Scrambler will also be receiving ABS as standard right from the beginning.

With the Scrambler series of bikes in the picture, the strongest rival to the Benelli Leoncino Scrambler is expected to be the Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 model.
Benelli Leoncino Scrambler Mileage
The classic Benelli Leoncino Scrambler 499.6cc bike is a beauty in itself weighing around 170kg. Being a lightweight bike model, the bike is expected to perform much better when it comes to riding and handling. The bike features more of Italian looks and has been beautifully designed by CentroStile Benelli. As far as the unique features of the bike are concerned, the bike sports a perfectly rounded headlight along with an upright riding stance that comes with a single seating piece. In addition to this, the high-tech model of the bike by Benelli also receives a dual toned front fender, floating tailpiece, and a fuel tank capacity of around 15 Litres.
Benelli Leoncino Scrambler Performance and Handling
The classic bike receives USD forks of 45mm towards the front end. There is also a monoshock unit which is present towards the rear end. The spoke wheels of 17-inches are made of aluminum alloy have been shod with tyres of the bike. This makes this beautiful model capable for both on as well as mid off roading experience.
