BMW F850 GS Overview
Whether you are looking for some hardcore adventure biking or a casual ride on the busy streets; the all-new BMW F850 GS series is ready to take it all with ultimate grace and high functionality. The F850 GS is the elder sibling of the F750 GS. BMW has completely revamped the standard 850 series to deliver the high-performing off-road-oriented F850 GS bike series. The classic BMW F850 GS motorbike is all set up for working towards delivering high riding experiences across less-civilized areas including deserts, dirt roads, and dirt trails. BMW F850 GS is offering a more hard-core off-roading experience than its younger sibling.
BMW F850 GS Engine & Transmission
BMW is giving an all-new strong powerplant to the bike which is capable of producing 95 HP @ 8250 rpm of power along with the peak torque value of around 92 Nm @ 6250 rpm. This 853 cc engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch for smooth downshifts.
BMW F850 GS Braking & Safety
Braking duties are done by 305mm dual disc brakes up front, while the rear comes with a 265mm single disc brake. The BMW F 850 GS also gets 'Road’ and ‘Rain’ riding modes with ABS and ASC for safety.

BMW F850 GS Styling & Comfort
Speaking of the visuals of the F850 GS comes with the signature elements like an asymmetric LED headlamp, the short break, big GS attire on the tank and high-mounted exhaust. The bike also comes with a new instrument cluster that features an analogue tachometer and a multifunctional display, with tell-tale lights. There is also an optional 6.5-inch full-colour display screen with Bluetooth connectivity features which the rider can opt for.
BMW F850 GS Performance and Handling
The BMW F850 GS receives longer suspension travel in comparison to the F750 GS motorbike along with its highly specialized 21-inch front wheel and 17-inch wheel at the rear in order to deliver high-end off-road riding experience. BMW has also equipped the bike with cross spoke wheels, long-travel upside down front forks, and rear monoshock with adjustable pre-load and rebound for a comfortable ride and off-roading.

The BMW F850 GS is an excellent bike that delivers what it is expected to do. It is great on off-road. It is a great pleasure to ride on this bike because it is narrow and quite manoeuvrable for an off-roader motorcycle.
