Ducati India has finally launched the much-awaited Ducati Monster 821 2018 bike series. The bike was previously launched in the year 2016 but was discontinued last year in steps for bringing the BS-IV emission norms into place. Recently, the leading bike manufacturing company has released the Ducati Monster 821 2018 version with updated features, some high-end styling upgrades, and the all-new BS-IV emission compliant powertrain. Taking its design cues from the world-famous original M900 series, the Ducati Monster 821 is something you can look forward to.
Ducati Monster 821 Engine & Transmission
The all-new Ducati Monster 821 2018 power bike is powered by the 821 cc, L-Twin Teststretta, BS-IV compliant engine. The powerful engine of the bike produces 108 BHP of power at 9250 rpm. Similarly, the peak torque value as generated by the bike’s engine is 86 Nm at 7750 rpm. The engine of the bike has been coupled to the 6-speed transmission gearbox.
Ducati Monster 821 Braking & Safety
Some of the mechanical bits of the all-new Ducati Monster 821 2018 bike remains the same as before including the same USD forks towards the front and a monoshock unit at its rear end. The overall braking power to the bike is received from the Brembo units hosting 3-level Bosch ABS as the standard for top-notch safety features to the bike.

In the all-new Ducati Monster 821 2018, the exhaust muffler of the bike appears identical to the Monster 1200S series of the Ducati bikes. The Ducati Monster 821 receives the attractive headlamp, a colourful display for the instrument cluster present at the gear position and a separate level meter for the tank’s fuel level. The Ducati Multimedia system is available as an option.
Ducati Monster 821 Performance and Handling
The bike’s transmission is still the 6-speed one, however, it now receives the 2-way quick shifter towards ensuring better riding experience of the bike. There is also the presence of a specialized slipper clutch with the overall bike package. The electronic package of the new-gen Ducati Monster 821 bike remains similar as before with the presence of 3 different riding modes, 8-step traction control, and 3-level ABS system. To enhance the overall performance of the bike, the Bluetooth-enabled interface also comes optional with the bike.
