Amidst the everyday innovation of super cars and zesty sports bike, Hero Electric one of India's leading manufacturers of electric two wheelers, made a stunning entry with its first launch of e-cycle that they call, Avior. This fantastic innovation has captured attention of several young professionals and also the young corporate. The Avior is available in two variants namely, AMX and AFX. AMX is male oriented and priced at 19,290 in Indian money the female AFX comes with a price tag of Rs.18, 990 customized for the females, as per the Delhi ex showroom price. Both the variants have boosted the Hero Electric immensely in terms of sales across the major metro cities of India.

Both the AMX and AFX variants of Avior e-cycle by Hero Electric is loaded with an advanced air cooled, 4 stroke, single cylinder engine and a SOHC that is capable of displacing 124 cc. The Hero Avior churns a maximum power of 8.62 PS, which is quite proficient. The Hero Electric engine is mated 5 speed chain drive for the automatic transmission, while the 6 speed chain drive gets a manual transmission. The Hero Electric Avior comes equipped with a host of features that are striking and uptime such as alloy wheels, detachable battery box, tail lamp integrated battery, LED headlamp, adjustable seat, electric horn, hub motor and front forks. AMX: Hero Electric Avior, makers in addition to the existing features equip AMX with 6-speed Shimano gear and electronic disc brake at front. AFX: receives a metallic front basket as exclusive equipment. The batteries on both the variants take around 9 to 10 hours for charging up fully, and can be ridden at a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The e-cycles can be ridden with the help of pedals manually, if the battery runs out of charge.

The Avior range of electric cycles is an innovative product placed as a green, eco-friendly personal transport for the masses that promises a fuel efficiency of 66km/l overall, top speed of 120km/l and break the 0-60 km/h in 7.65 seconds.
