The largest Indian two-wheel automaker (HMCL) launched the Hero dash scooter few years back. It looks similar to Maestro and has been widely considered as its substitute in India.

The fuel capacity of 6 L is quite low. The engine is air cooled. The ground clearance of the Hero Dash motorbike is 155 mm.
Since Hero Dash launch in India in 2015, it has used drum brakes and there has been no advancement in the same. The drum brakes are both at the front and rear wheels. Another unique feature about the bike is that it has an automatic engine. It has an arm type of suspension and many riders have complimented it on its performance on the rough roads.
The Hero Dash engine emits 8.5 bhp at 9.4 Nm torque. The latest version of bike has an anti-theft immobilizer that stops the engine in case of theft.

The design of Hero Dash bike makes it suitable for both male and female riders. The bike does not have a pavilion backrest; however, it has a footrest. More to that, the Dash bike from Hero Motocorp has an indicator that shows the status of the stand and service due indicator. The length and width of the scooter are 1850 mm and 822 mm, respectively.
