Is Hero Achiever a good bike, why didn’t it get enough response from buyers?

Hero Achiever is a good bike to consider, powered by149.1cc Air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, which discharges maximum power of 10 kW @ 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 12.8 Nm @ 5000 rpm, mated to constant mesh 5 speed transmission gears, maximum speed of this bike is 101 kmph.

Stopping power comes from disc brake on front wheel and internal expanding shoe type brake on rear wheel. Ground clearance of the bike is 160mm and fuel tank capacity is 12.5 liters. Front suspension is Telescopic Hydraulic shock Absorbers while rear is Swing Arm with adjustable Shock Absorber.

Dimensions of this bike are: Length 2040 mm, Width 760 mm, Height 1120 mm, Saddle Height 800 mm, Wheelbase 1290 mm, Ground Clearance 160 mm, Fuel Tank Capacity 12.5 litres, Reserve 2.3 Ltrs and Kerb Weight 134 Kg.

It is featured with ATFT (Advanced Tumble Flow Induction Technology) which creates tumble flow of fuel-air mixture from proven CV carburetor. Resulting advantages are better fuel economy, efficient burning, more power and lesser emissions.

Other features of this bike are:
• 5 spoke black alloy wheels
• Solid aerodynamic design
• New body graphics
• Headlight with pilot lamps
• Specially designed seats for solid comfort

Hero Achiever is well-known among customers for its superb fuel efficiency (55 kmpl) but may be because of its limited features, outdated styling, lazy throttle response (as per users experience), weak top end power that this bike got less response from the buyers that's why Hero Xtreme, Hero Xtreme Sports and Hero Impulse are attracting more buyers than Achiever.
