The latest news on Hero scooter indicates that it has a 111cc engine that is powerful than many low-cost motorbikes. The engine has 4 gears. The motorbike has a light weight of 110 kg. The fuel capacity of 6 L is quite low. The engine is air cooled. The ground clearance of the Hero Dash motorbike is 155 mm.

Since Hero Dash launch in India in 2015, it has used drum brakes and there has been no advancement in the same. The drum brakes are both at the front and rear wheels.
