Hero Duet LX: Is it the Right Scooter for You?

Looking at the stunning Hero Duet LX images, you may be wondering if this scooter is the right choice for you. The Duet LX was launched alongside Maestro Edge and both scooters have the same engine. However, unlike the Edge, which has a plastic body, the Duet LX has a complete metal body and a unique design.

Looking at the Hero Duet LX specifications, it can be said that the Hero Duet LX has been designed keeping both genders in mind, unlike the Edge, which is designed to appeal to male scooter riders.

Hero Duet LX Specifications

The scooter comes with a single-cylinder 110.9 cc, 4-stroke engine that is air-cooled. It is capable of generating 8 bhp of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. It comes with a variomatic drive transmission and automatic clutch. The LX is capable of attaining a top speed of 85 km per hour.

The engine purrs smoothly when accelerated and on the busy Indian roads, it offers superior performance at 50 to 60 km per hour. While the engine is capable of attaining 80 or more, it may sound a little strained.

Hero Duet LX Appearance

If you read a Hero Duet LX review, you will notice that most reviewers talk about the five different colours that the scooter is available in. It is available in matte Vernier Grey, Pearl Silver White, Candy Blazing Red, Grace Grey and Panther Black.

The body is appealingly shaped and designed. It does not appear ostentatious. The metal body looks attractive and also ensures adequate body weight. The panels at the side have some chrome and so does the apron in the front. At the side, you will find the 3D logo while the rear comes with a large taillight. The instrument panel is neatly designed and arranged, and there is even a digital panel.

Hero Duet LX Features

The Duet LX comes with a range of features, including a point for charging the mobile, tubeless tyres, dual-coloured mirrors, large headlight and taillamp, analogue speedometer, digital reading for odometer, fuel level indicator, under seat storage, and grab rail.

The scooter has a multi-functional key that not only helps unlock the steering but also can be used to release the fuel lid and seat remotely. The fuel cap is externally located, so you don’t have to get off the scooter to get the tanked filled. The mobile charging port is located in the storage space under the seat.

These are some of the features that the Hero Duet LX comes with. You are now better informed to make a decision while buying this stunning scooter that performs equally well.
