Hero Ignitor Overview
Hero MotoCorp Ignitor is the latest launch in two wheeler space and is ready to take on to its competitors. This bike provides good on road mileage and is a good performer amongst 125cc segment commuter. It comes in two variants such as self start with front-disc break and self Start Drum brake. The key features that have made this bike a hit in the market are its features and performance advantages such as good on road mileage, Decent Design, Refined engine and vast service network. This bike was initially launched on the year 2012 post the company was rechristened to Hero MotoCorp. This bike provides a decent power and is equipped with a 124.7cc 4 stroke single cylinder OHC engine with 5 transmission gears. It produces a peak power of 11 bhp at 8000 rpm and max torque of 11Nm at 5000 rpm.

Ignitor has had a lot of cosmetic updates in the latest version such as front cowl new graphics, redesigned body panels and body-colored rear view mirror. This bike also comes with a digital analogue instrument console. Being light weighted, having kerb weight of 129 Kg, this bike has an advantage of smooth riding in urban stop-go traffic. It measures 2010 mm in length, 710mm in width and 1095 mm in height along with a ground clearance of 175mm. There are many additional reasons why one would go for this bike mainly due to its key features such as 124.7cc 4 stroke single cylinder OHC engine, 5 Gear Transmission, 11 bhp at 8000 rpm max power and 11 Nm at 5000 rpm, Analogue- digital instrument cluster and Tubeless tyres. This bike comes in various attractive colors such as Sports Red, Pearl White, Vibrant Blue and Panther Black Metallic. The only disadvantage that could be seen in this bike is that it is identical in looks to the Honda Stunner. However, moderately priced, this bike has come up against its competitors such as Honda CBF Stunner, Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS, Suzuki Slingshot Plus and the Yamaha SS 125.
