Hero MotoCorp has given a treat to the country with one of the first semi-faired bike. The Karizma is popular since its initial launch in 2003, the latest version in 2014, has lot of cosmetic updates and additional features. This bike continues to be powered by the same tried and tested four stroke SOHC 223cc engine giving an awesome performance and mileage at the same time. The EBR tweaking the power plant has made this bike more powerful. Overall you could say that this bike is a combination of quite a few motorcycles. There are features that have been incorporated inspired by other brands such as Apache, Hyosung GT250R, Pulsar 220 and EBR 1190R. With a top speed of 125 kmph, this bike gives an excellent ride especially on less traffic roads or highways. This bike is no less that any imported bikes in terms of style and performance.

Retaining Honda's 223cc engine, which is set to be better with EBR tweaking the power plant,Hero MotoCorp Karizma gives a good performance. It delivers 17.8 bhp and 18.35 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted via a five-speed gearbox.
Hero Karizma Mileage
Hero MotoCorp Karizma gives a whooping performance with an average mileage of 40 kmpl.Long drives can be covered with more than an average speed and with ease on this bike with its added features. The fuel tank capacity is 15 litres, which is ideal for long bike trips.
Hero Karizma Performance and Handling
Hero MotoCorp Karizma has done a lot of updates to its latest version when compared to the initial one launched in 2003. However, it is seen that all through these years there has not been any change in the engine, even in the fully faired version Karizma ZMR, in which the engine comes with a fuel injection. Other latest iteration to this bike is that it sports a redesigned engine cowl and a redesigned fairing coupled with all- new graphics. In addition it also features daytime running lights and clip- on handle bars. A lot of enhancement has been done to its looks and the exteriors are quite sporty with a new side and front fairing, new mudguard, new headlights, race inspired belly pan, wider tyres (90 and 120 section), and so on. This bike comes in five color schemes Spotlight White, Sport Red, Daring Yellow, Power Black and Ebony Green. This bike is a tough competitor for Bajaj NS20, Bajaj pulsar 220F and TVS Apache RTR 180.
