Bike variant reviewed for: Hero Pleasure

Year of Manufacture: 2016 | Driven no. of Kms. : 5800
  • Pros: My dad bought the pleasure in January last year. He wasn't getting any younger and he could no longer keep up with his fierro. Originally intended for his own office use but over the next 9 months, he rarely rode it because I was glued to it for most of the time. My first 2 wheeler and it rarely disappointed me. Mileage is good, gives me ~50 kmpl in the streets of Kolkata and a little more on highways. Being extremely light weight, it can handle city traffic pretty smoothly. Up to 55 kmph is fine but vibrations start thereafter. It can do 90 on the speedo but not worth the stress on the engine. Overall I would say, it does what a scooty is supposed to do. Not recommended for highway travelling if you are planning a 50+ kilometer ride.
  • Cons: The suspension is not really good especially the front one. You will get a lot of jerking even with slightly rough roads. You gotta reduce your speed to a bare 10 kmph if you want to tackle a bumper of even the smallest heights. It is not a highway traveller by any means as doing a straight 40+ km will start giving you back aches.

No comments regarding servicing as everyone knows Hero is the best when it comes to after sales and brand image. Pleasure has served it's purpose really well to me.
