Hero Xpulse is a new bike in the adventure segment, entering the market with many advanced features as compared to its predecessor. This bike projected a stylish image onto its onlookers at the 2017 EICMA and the 2018 Auto Expo. The company is counting on a good reception for this off-roader bike from the public in October 2018, which is the expected Hero Xpulse launch date in India.
Hero Xpulse Mileage
With a 220 cc engine displacement and 33 kmpl mileage, the new Hero Xpulse is going to give a good performance. The bike's design consists of a full-LED headlamp, knuckle guards and luggage racks. A windshield has also been fitted to avoid riding disturbance caused by harsh winds.

With Hero Xpulse's 220 cc engine capable of producing 18.6 PS power at 8500 rpm, the bikers are going to get a fuel-injection, air-cooled, single-cylinder technology engine delivering 17.2 Nm of maximum torque at 6000 rpm. In addition, the engine will come with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.
Hero Xpulse Performance and Handling
This off-road adventure bike will have a tall riding position, protective windshield and knuckle guards, along with a suspension setup suitable for long distance traveling. The company has opted for a minimalistic and simple body look, which gives off a stylish appearance. Though the Hero Xpulse colour variants are still not disclosed, the bike is expected to be equipped with a designer high tensile steel diamond frame, providing it the strength and agility, aluminum skid plate offering protection from oil slumps, and upswept exhaust system to bestow the bike with water-wading capabilities. All these characteristics that the new Hero Xpulse bike will have are required for a smooth riding experience on rough terrains.
Braking and Safety
Speaking of the braking features, the bike is equipped with 21-inch and 18-inch wheels at the front and back, respectively, with a ground clearance of 220 mm. The braking system is going to run effortlessly through discs present at both ends and with a switchable ABS.
The suspension functionality is going to be performed by the 190 mm front telescopic forks and 10 step gas-charged adjustable mono shock suspension at the rear end.
