Hero Xpulse Overview
After its unveiling at the EICMA last year, Hero Motocorp has recently showcased the much-awaited Hero Xpulse concept at the latest Auto Expo 2018. The stylish off-roader concept in the form of Hero Xpulse has made its debut at the high-end biennial event and sets high hopes for the company’s upcoming adventure motorcycle. The latest Hero Xpulse is the much-awaited motorbike in the adventure segment that can be observed as the successor to the previous Hero Impulse with additional features.
Hero Xpulse Engine & Transmission
The new-gen Hero Xpulse will be drawing power from the highly powerful 220cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injection technology engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 18.6 PS at 8500 rpm along with the maximum torque of 17.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine of the bike has been mated to the 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.
Hero Xpulse Braking & Safety
The suspension duties of the Hero Xpulse are carried out by the presence of front telescopic forks that come with 190mm travel along with 10-step gas-charged adjustable monoshock suspension towards the rear end along with a 170 mm travel. The Hero Xpulse comes equipped with 21-inch wheel at the front along with the 18-inch wheel at the rear end in addition to the ground clearance of around 220mm. Braking power to the bike comes from the discs at both the ends along with a switchable ABS that makes an addition to the production version of the bike.

Hero Xpulse Mileage
The Hero Xpulse features a 220cc engine displacement and is expected to be delivering an average mileage of around 33 kmpl. The all-new Hero Xpulse features some high-end design and technical specifications including a full-LED headlamp, luggage racks, knuckle guards, and protective windscreen towards offering protection from the harsh winds. Additionally, the motorbike also receives the highly advanced Turn-by-Turn Navigation technology which is assumed to be the first-ever introduction in the given segment. The Hero Xpulse will also be flaunting the immensely attractive all-digital instrument cluster along with the smartphone connectivity towards offering turn-by-turn navigation support.
Hero Xpulse Performance and Handling
The overall design features of the stylish Hero Xpulse boasts a simple design along with minimalistic body panels, long-distance traveling suspension setup, and tall riding position. The presence of protective windscreen ensures protection from wind buffeting and the knuckle guards of the motorbike ensure the ease of long-distance rides and adventure traveling. The advanced Hero Xpulse has been based on the designer high tensile steel diamond frame known for offering great strength and immense agility. In addition to this, the given adventure motorbike also comes fitted with an aluminum skid plate meant for providing protection to the oil slump and engine of the bike. The given set of features of the Hero Xpulse offers high functionality and usefulness, especially in off-road conditions. The up-swept exhaust system of the bike offers attractive water wading capacity.
