I purchased the Bike in April 28th of 2016 and have been having the issue of loss of acceleration since i took the bike. At first I thought that the showroom people have limited the bike from crossing 40 so that the engine won't get any issues in the long run. Later i got to know that once the engine heats up, it is loosing acceleration. I returned back to the bike to dealer on the 9th day. Alas...!! Saw another 3 hornets there with even more major complaints. One will get stopped while riding in 4th gear.(Major issue. Chances of falling down or vehicle coming from behind could hit you pretty hard since you will be travelling at a speed of 40+ when in fourth gear). The other bike will get stopped within 1 km once the engine has heated up (you can't predict when that may happen). The major issue i have faced is that the engine heats up pretty bad in traffic conditions (especially for those who has to commute through routes like silk board route in Bangalore). Once it heats up, the air intake is not proper so that the bike will suddenly start having issues like , jerking once it hits 40+ , loss of acceleration, feels like the bike is been pulled back once it is commuted to more than 20Kms etc. (This is not just my experience, have seen more than 4 bikes in the same showroom returned back due to this issue). may i remind you that i have hardly ridden the bike for 400 kms.
