Honda Lead Overview

Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India (HMIL) is about to expand its scooter range in the country by launching a 125cc scooter named Lead. It is already available in few international markets like Japan and Vietnam. The scooter would be powered by a 125cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that emits a peak power of 11.33bhp along with11.3Nm of torque. It will join the league of the highly popular Honda Active Scooter that has broken all sale records.Honda Lead will boast of a premium look with V-shaped chrome line with integrated indicators and will carry a large under seat storage. The rear of the scooter will get LED lights. The style quotient would be increased by the beige upholstery and plastics. The look will be similar to that of Activa but this one will carry more chrome embellishment. It will be fitted with Honda’s “Smart Power” technology that will help in minimizing the friction and fuel consumption. The idling start/stop feature of this bike will further enhance its overall efficiency. It will get Honda V-Matic belt converter automatic transmission. The fuel tank capacity of Honda Lead will be 6 litres and certified mileage is expected to be around 55.55kmpl.
