This Indian motorcycle truly deserves respect. The hard saddlebags hold up to 22 pounds each and mount on quick-release anchors for easy off and on if anyone don??™t want to fumble with a key. When I first laid eyes on the mill, I was struck by how much the valve train geometry, head construction and valve-cover design reminded me of an old flat head engine but then I saw The 111-inch Thunder Stroke V-twin engine breathes through a 54 mm throttle body to deliver a blistering 119 pound-feet of torque, proving that the builders looked forward even as they borrowed from the past.
