JAWA Perak

Jawa Motorcycles will start accepting the bookings of their long-awaited Perak. The motorcycle really increased the hype due to its bobber design as Jawa is the only one to offer a bobber body type in this price segment. Jawa Perak boasts a float design and will possess an odometer, fuel gauge and a speedometer just like its siblings. Jawa Perak specs come with a single-cylinder powered by a 334 cc liquid-cooled motor, which is slightly larger than the Jawa classic and Jawa Forty Two, due to the larger bore as the stroke is not changed. The engine produces 30 bhp of maximum power and 31Nm of peak torque output. The bike will also get a 6-speed transmission. It is important to note that the engine is BS-6 emission norms compliant.

The upcoming Jawa Perak will feature a blacked-out theme along with a single seat coloured in tan, and black coloured engine, exhaust and spoke wheels. All the chrome has been replaced in favour of blacked-out elements. Perak loses the pillion seat, bar-end mirrors, floating rider seat, chopped fenders and a shorter exhaust. The instrument console will feature a minimal design just like its siblings and the read-outs are also anti-clockwise.

Jawa Perak Braking features will include a front and a rear disc brake. The safety features will include a standard dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). It will also receive a different from the other two variants of Jawa along with a longer swingarm. Competitors of Jawa Perak will be Royal Enfield Classic 350 and UM Renegade Commando.
