Kawasaki Ninja is a high-performance premium bike series that has garnered appreciation across the world and Indian market is no different. The Japanese bike manufacturer has seen the pretty good response with the Ninja range of models here. The next one to be introduced to the portfolio is the Kawasaki Ninja 250 SL. This bike is expected to come here sometime later this year or in early 2018.
The bike is expected to come priced between Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 3.20 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It comes as a faired version of the Z250 SL that is a naked streetfighter and expected to launch here sometime later this year. The bike comes with a very sculpted and aggressive look. It gets a muscular stance due to the design. Up front, there is a sharp headlamp with LED lamp. A tall visor, stylish wing mirrors, fully digital instrument cluster, a chunky and muscular looking fuel tank are there. The side fairings have been designed to ensure aerodynamic efficiency for the bike.
The Kawasaki Ninja 250 SL gets a low positioned rider seat offering riding comfort and control over the machine. The narrow tail section, split and stepped up pillion seat, split grab rails, sleek and sharp LED taillight are the other design elements there. It gets an upwardly facing exhaust muzzle with shiny chrome bits. The Kawasaki Ninja 250 SL runs on black alloy wheels wrapped with tubeless tyres.
Kawasaki Ninja 250SL Engine & Transmission
For the power source, the bike gets a 249 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed transmission. The engine is well capable if churning out 27.62 bhp of peak power at 9,700 rpm and 22.6 Nm of peak torque at 8,200 rpm.
Kawasaki Ninja 250SL Braking & Safety
For braking duty, the Kawasaki Ninja 250 SL gets 290 mm front disc brake and 220 mm rear disc brake. Also, it gets dual-channel ABS to ensure better safety and protection.
