KTM 250 Adventure Overview

KTM India is planning to launch its all-new series of 250 Adventure motorcycle in India. Based on the nearest sibling –the Duke 250, the KTM 250 Adventure version of the motorbike is all set to rob the heart of bikers who want an adventure lightweight motorcycle.

KTM 250 Adventure will derive its design, chassis and the panels from the elder sibling, the 390 Adventure. However, the engine will be carried forward from Duke 250. The motorcycle will be priced competitively as it will be the entry-level adventure motorcycle from the KTM.

KTM 250 Adventure Engine & Transmission

2020 KTM 250 Adventure utilizes the same engine, as can be seen on Duke 250. It makes 30bhp of max power and 24Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a smooth-shifting 6-speed gearbox and comes with a slipper clutch for convenience.

KTM 250 Adventure Styling & Comfort

The design language of the 250 Adventure is from its elder siblings the 390 and 1190 Adventure. The front will get a halogen headlamp just like the Duke 250 to keep the costs in check some of the equipment may not be carried forward to the 250 Adventure from its elder siblings. The body panels will be minimal to save weight and the paint scheme may be derived from the Duke 250 which means that it will look striking and aggressive.

KTM 250 Adventure Performance and Handling

The KTM 250 Adventure is assumed to be a multi-purpose two-wheeler which is efficient in handling off-road conditions along with rugged terrain situations with much ease. There will be improved ground clearance, tall riding position, small carrier at the mounts & back for additional storage and a side-mounted exhaust. Front and rear tyres measure 19-inch and 17-inch wheels with Mogrip Meteor FM2 tyres from MRF will offer plenty grip for road and rough surfaces. There can also be various accessories to protect the motorcycle from falls like handguards, skid plate, and high-mount exhaust. The new motorbike by KTM will also be sporting a stronger & longer suspension so that it can take an off-road beating.
