KTM Duke 200 Overview
KTM Duke 200 is a naked bike which is specially designed to dominate the streets. The motorcycle sports the Ducati style trellis frame, big tank, and the fat rear tire. This latest version KTM Duke has sporty look and sleek design, which is fully packed with advanced features. Few features of this bike include alloy wheels, tubeless tyre, wide tyres, suspension, big tank fuel, and brakes. The Duke 200 is available in three exciting colour to include White, Orange, and Black. Originally, the motorcycle was launched on January 24th, 2012. It comes with a stylish headlamp that has been placed in the front cowl. The bike is also offered with the stylish wide fuel tank. In the rear section, there is a LED tail light which is well merged with turn indicators.
KTM Duke 200 Engine & Transmission
This naked Sports motorcycle is powered by 199.5cc, the single-cylinder 4-stroke liquid cooling engine that can produce a peak power of 25bhp, which is achieved at 9500 rpm. The torque produced is of 19.2Nm which is achieved at 8000 rpm. The motorcycle is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission for enormous performance.
KTM Duke 200 Braking & Safety
The KTM 200 Duke intelligently features a strong steel trellis frame which is absolutely lightweight. Suspension mechanism is well equipped with a 43mm WP upside-down forks at the front as well as a WP monoshock suspension present at the rear. The braking system is composed of disk brakes of 300mm disc with a four-piston calliper in the front as well as a 230mm disc with a single-piston floating calliper present at the rear. Surprisingly, ABS is available. As far as safety is concerned, the bike is equipped with disc brakes at both ends.

The company has claimed a fuel average of 28 kmpl in city and 34 kmpl on highway. It is equipped with a 10.5-litre tank and it can cover a distance of 300 kilometres without getting empty.
KTM Duke 200 Performance and Handling
The Duke 200 is loaded with Powder Coated body and Steel Trellis Frame, which makes the bike to feel lightweight and easy to handle. The street bike is capable to reach 60 kmph mark in just 3.30 seconds only. The top speed of this vehicle is claimed to be 136 kmph according to KTM. Moreover, the machine is packed with 280mm Disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc brakes at the rear section. It is one of the most technically advanced bikes. It gets the maintenance free battery which has an over-all life of 1.5 to 2 years.The other features are the digital speedometer, digital fuel gauge, digital-analogue instrument cluster, digital trip meter and analogue tachometer. The digital dashboard displays side stand warning, time, pressure level, distance to empty and a bunch of other things. Th kerb weight of the bike is around 136kgs which makes it one of the lightest bikes in the category and it's lightweight boost's its power to weight ratio tremendously. It comes equipped with hard compound MRF REVz, with wide wheel size 110/70 x 17 and 150/60 x 17 mm.
