Why after 1000 km KTM Duke 200 trip meter restart from 0 km?

KTM Duke 200 is offered with two trip meters, as per KTM Duke user’s manual the trip setting limit is only up to 999.9 km. The trip meter-1 runs continuously and counts up to 999.9. It can be used to measure the length of a certain route on a trip or the distance between two re-fueling stops.

The trip meter-2 runs continuously and counts up to 999.9. It can be used similarly to TRIP 1 or together with a switch available as an accessory for trips according to a road book.

When the fuel level reaches the reserve mark, the display will automatically switch to TRIP F and begin to count (no matter which display mode was activ e before). At the same time, the fuel warning lamp will start to blink. You will still have enough reserve fuel for at least 30 kilometers.
