Mahindra Duro Overview
Mahindra Duro DZ 125 is a fantastically designed scooter that is good-looking and has the power to boast. The latest Duro gets clear-lens headlight, fresh new graphics and a sleek front mudguard. The scooter a lengthy wheelbase and the braking system performs quiet well. It has a handlebar-mounted halogen headlamp which has wide and clear visibility in the dark. There is rear brake lock lever for parking it safely. The scooter has a 20litre storage capacity under the seat enough to store a lot of items. Additionally,there is a generous front storage area as well. The all new Mahindra Duro is offered in attractive shades. The other feature on the Duro is its large fuel tank that is capable of storing up to 6.5litre of fuel. Mahindra Duro has been revised with tiny cosmetic and mechanical updates since its launch.
Mahindra Duro Engine & Transmission
The scooter is powered by 124.6cc 4-stroke petrol engine that is capable 8bhp of maximum power at 7,000rpm. This 4-stroke DI engine generates a peak torque output of 9Nm at 5,500rpm which is good for riding around the city at a gentle pace. The engine is paired with an automatic transmission which delivers smooth acceleration and strong pick-up. The scooter burns fuel very efficiently, and at the same time delivers performance as well. It claims a top speed of 80kmph.
Mahindra Duro Mileage
Mahindra claims that the Duro will return brilliant mileage as it comes with an Advanced Dual-Curve Digital Ignition engine, which optimizes fuel burning efficiency of this scooter. It delivers a mileage of 42kmpl through mixed riding conditions.
Mahindra Duro Performance and Handling
The long wheelbase helps Duro deliver a comfortable ride on city streets. It comes with 3.5inch front and rear tires added with the wider wheelbase for better handling. The MRF Zapper tires provide great grip and stability. The scooter has a wide and well-positioned seat with a standard upright position. The instrument console has been redesigned well, and is legible. It consists of a speedometer and fuel gauge. Its higher ground clearance and raised handlebars provides greater feeling of control. The bike has good handling as it feels lightweight. Overall, the scooter gets few tangible improvements included with suspension.
