Moto Guzzi is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer and the oldest European manufacturer to have been continuously producing motorcycles since its inception on 1921. Moto Guzzi was founded by Carlo Guzzi and Giorgio Parodi in Mandello del Lario, Italy. The company is best known for its innovations,power-packed engines and for being a prominent part of motorcycle racing scene.Their first bike, produced in 1922, was named Normale which had a 500 cc engine and quickly captured the attention of the market, becoming the first major success of the company. The research and development on making the bikes lighter and more powerful continued over the years. After some successful and notable models the GT tour (1928), the Condor (1938), the Dondolino (1940), the Sport 15 (1931) and the Falcone (1950) the company introduced the V7 in 1967. It was quite a successful mark in the history of the brand. Another remarkable turn was the 850 Le Mans introduced in 1976 which is considered as an icon and the most sought after Moto Guzzi creation. This was manufactured after the company was bought by Alejandro De Tomaso in 1973. Facing financial difficulties the company was sold to Aprilia in 2000 and later to Piaggio in 2004.The present models of Moto Guzzi include Moto Guzzi Bellagio 940, Griso 1200, Sports 8V, California 1400, Moto Guzzi V7, Norge GT and Stelvio. California 1400 is a killer touring bike which is always on the most-wanted list of biking enthusiasts. It is powered by 90° V-Twin, 4-stroke, 4 valves, and double ignition engine with a displacement of 1380 cc. It comes loaded with features like ABS, electronic cruise control, traction control and ride-by-wire with three maps. It is a perfect combination of adventure and luxury. Griso is a retro-sporty looking roadster with an 1151cc 90 degree V-twin engine whereas the bold Bellagio comes with a four-stroke, 935cc V-twin engine. Moto Guzzi V7 and Sports 8V are street motorcycles with 4-stroke, 744 cc, 90° V-twin and 1151cc 8-valve V-Twin engine respectively. All models have unique styling and come in different colour variations suited to their usage and brand value.
